This is 4 month old boy, born at 30 weeks gestation due to premature rupture of membranes. He presents with a 2 month history of well-demarcated, erosive, vivid red plaques on face and buttocks.

We have been involved in the training of dermatology and pathology residents since 1994. Dr. Shitabata is the Director of Dermatopathology for the Harbor-UCLA Dermatology Residency program, under the direction of Michael Kolodney, M.D., PhD.
